I used Sketch and Adobe XD for the design system. I was tasked with deciding on standard design tools for all designers. I used Figma for a while, and in all cases used Zeplin for developer handoff. I worked for about 12 months as a civilian linguist, doing Spanish to English transcription and translation. I consulted with language experts from the Dominican Republic, Mexico, Peru, Honduras and other countries. Part of my goal was to gain experience while attending Utah Valley University as I studied Spanish, Portuguese, Mandarin Chinese and Arabic. I had to report back to my university as part of a work release all the new terms I learned during my employment.
