This includes Application Specific controls testing, ITGC testing, SOX testing, FISMA/FEDRAMP, ISO 27001 Compliance, and individuals that are able to provide the Readiness and related Assessments to organizations aiming to complete these engagements, externally or internally. With the expanded necessity for data security, compliance, risk mitigation, and transaction integrity, these professionals are in high demand and in some cases, impossible to locate. As Director of Business Development, and later on De Facto Director for Auditwerx, Jeff was a hands-on communicator to his clients and their unique needs. From being a subject matter expert, to responding to requests for proposals, pricing out engagements and budgeted hours for an engagement, predecessor auditor communication, and to coordinating all of the pre-engagement steps in the audit process, and post engagement steps including gap letters, Jeff’s unique background in accounting and client relations allows him to quickly understand and deliver the right solution with all levels of his client’s staff from C-Suite Executives to IT Department staff. He is always focused on innovative ways to find, assist, and facilitate the audit process to new organizations and current clients in need, building life-long relationships with the decision makers of companies ranging from Fortune 500 companies to organizations with less than five (5) employees. Jeff’s passion is matching the needs of a prospect to the best outcome, as well as continually adapting to the ever-changing, dynamic needs of his current clients. Jeff has also been engaged to host speaking engagements on the topic of the SSAE 16 SOC 1 (formerly SAS 70) and the AT 101 SOC 2/SOC 3 Trust Services Principles engagements as well many social media writings and blog posts on the need, purpose, process, and use of an SSAE 16 engagement, report, and seal, as well as the CSAE 3416 (formerly CICA 5970) in Canada and ISAE 3402 Internationally. During his tenure with Auditwerx, Jeff was responsible for growing the client roster from 60 clients to over 200 clients throughout North America and Internationally, resulting in more than tripling firm wide revenues.
