Jeff Rhode is an award-winning Multimedia Journalist who has worked at Holy Name Medical Center and The Star-Ledger. Jeff has a creative approach to photography and video, and his visual projects have been featured worldwide on major network TV, newspaper, web, billboard, print ads, and television commercials.As a full-time photographer at Holy Name Medical Center, he was one of the very few photographers allowed inside any hospital and provided the media with images and video throughout the pandemic. Jeff has also been featured on many TV interviews for this unique coverage and The Society of Professional Journalists awarded Jeff with the "Courage Under Fire" award for his pandemic coverage. In addition, Jeff won 8 awards from the 2021 International Photography Awards, 2 awards from the 2020 International Photography Awards, and exhibited in "ICP Concerned" at the International Center for Photography. Rhode was also a contributor to the NY Times Pulitzer-winning coverage of the pandemic in 2020. Most recently the NJBIZ recognized Jeff with the "Healthcare Heroes Educator" award for photojournalism coverage of COVID-19 from the front lines and Holy Name Medical Center also recognized Jeff with the "Caring Heart Award" for dedicated and compassionate service.Rhode's previous experience is on the award-winning editorial team at The Star-Ledger and as a photographer and videographer on the award-winning documentary "A Thousand More" (see links below).While at The Ledger, Jeff worked as the Director of Production for The Heart Gallery of NJ, which coordinated a photo exhibit of over 300 foster children in NJ. HGNJ was followed by another project to help raise awareness of homeless teens called Do1Thing, where his role was a videographer.
