Egypt Equine Aid is dedicated to improving the welfare of horses and donkeys in Egypt, where working animals often endure challenging conditions, with limited local knowledge on animal care and no equivalent to the RSPCA. From 2016 to 2022, I served as Non-Executive Chair, focusing on establishing governance, strategic direction, IT processes, and a robust finance function to strengthen the organisation’s foundations. After stepping down to enable a qualified vet to lead as Chair, I now support Egypt Equine Aid as Treasurer, ensuring continued financial stewardship for its mission.

When I'm in Perth and not working in my day-job, I'm also an event photographer specialising in parties, festivals, special occasions, & corporate events etc.Since I travel quite a bit too, I also do a lot of photography overseas: people, landscapes, landmarks, nature etc.I like to have fun, stay out-of-the-way, and help people relax when they're in front of the camera.

Egypt Equine Aid takes in sick & injured horses & donkeys, treats them & educates their owners about better animal husbandry, so they can live pain-free lives again.The horses & donkeys in Egypt are often forced to work in conditions that are unimaginable to anyone from developed countries. There is no RSPCA and little knowledge among the local people about the basics of caring for animals.Egypt Equine Aid is a registered charity in Australia and operates in Cairo to save the horses and donkeys there from lives of incredible suffering and pain.

MineFED is an innovative software system that provides trucking and loader simulations for mining consultants, contractors and owners who need accurate estimates and want to get them in hours not days.MineFED helps mine designers, schedulers, estimators, consultant, and production engineers to accurately optimise trucking and loader requirements and therefore forecast costs with greater accuracy than any other software system presently available. As a result, they can reduce risk and make decisions with far greater confidence, thereby increasing profit.
