My wife and I are co-owners of Everyone's Autistic, an autism etiology research consultancy. This started as a side gig with my masters thesis in 1998. Now it's our main gig. In 2022, I earned an MBA in digital entrepreneurship. I was campus dean of Strayer's South Charlotte Campus from January 2018 to January 2022. Prior to this, I was the campus dean for the North Charlotte Campus (Concord, NC) since December 2013, and the Downers Grove (IL) Campus from August 2011 to November 2013. I was dean of Strayer’s Knoxville (TN) Campus from September 2009 until I moved to Illinois in the summer of 2011. Before that I was a fulltime CIS and EDU professor at the Delaware County (PA) campus. From fall 2007 through winter 2009, I was an adjunct CIS and RES531 professor for the Knoxville Campus while working as a special education teacher and administrator for Sevier County and Anderson County schools (both in East Tennessee). I did this from 2000 through 2008, earning my Ed.S. and Ed.D. along the way. In the 1990s, I worked as a training project manager for a U.S. Department of Energy contractor in Oak Ridge, Tennessee, while earning my masters in information sciences. Prior to ORAU, I was an information management officer in the U.S. Air Force.
