Covenant High School is a charter school that is designed to meet the needs of "at-risk" students who are unable to succeed in a traditional high school. We offer an alternative schedule for students who may be homeless, living on their own or struggling with other challenges. We offer support in a variety of ways from providing breakfast and lunch, to assisting with locating housing and counseling services. Our school offers a daycare for students. Our "Baby Academy" is offered free of charge to help our students complete high school. We are always interested in finding partners to mentor our students, help with special events such as prom and provide job placement. In 2010 my husband Brian and I purchased our first 2 unit apartment building and East Hills Realty was born. After extensive remodeling and a ton of sweat equity we welcomed our first tenants on August 1st. Our property on the corner of Franklin and Division will house off-site offices.We have since grown our business to include a total of 10 residential properties (30 apartment units) and 1 mixed use building (3 commercial and 1 residential unit). Every property we purchase requires extensive remodeling. We offer moderately priced units, focused on the professional and "Medical Mile" customer base. Each unit offers updated kitchens, new appliances and remodeled bathrooms. Many of our units have hardwood floors, washer and dryer on site and large yards. All of our units have modern color pallets chosen to compliment the building inside and out.Our properties are located in Fairmount Square Historic District, East Hills and Lake Drive & Eastern neighborhoods. Walking distance from Downtown Grand Rapids, East Towne, and the Medical Mile, as well as GVSU and GRCC. They are all a quick bike ride or car ride from Aquinas, Calvin Colleges or Cornerstone University.

7th and 8th Grade history. Responsible for planning and preparation of lessons using a variety of sources, following closely, the State of Michigan Social Studies Standards. During the 2016-2017 school year the middle school realized 2 years of growth in both Math and English Language Arts. Our school board goal was 1.5 years of growth. I am also involved in our Positive Behavior Intervention and Support (PBIS) program. We use this program to encourage good behavior, rather than only punishing bad behavior. The program includes certificates, prizes, and field trips.My classroom is defined by a caring, fun environment that includes a lot of hugs, and "I care about you!!!" comments. My students may not have the best teacher in Michigan, but they know when they enter, I care that they succeed and work with my students, colleagues, administration and above all parents to see that my students learning needs are met.My decision to leave Muskegon Heights was driven primarily by the adoption of my two sons. The need to work closer to home and be available to them for their needs caused me to seek an alternative in Grand Rapids, MI.

• Sell preventative maintenance agreements on existing Simplex and competitive fire alarm and life safety equipment.• Survey customer sites make recommendations regarding service, system upgrades and compliance with fire code.• Work closely with management to improve over-all customer experience to insure longevity and word-of-mouth recommendation.• Conduct customer training to insure proper compliance with fire code and proper operation of life safety equipment.

Coordinate physical moves within the Spectrum Health system. Utilize the, established move process, strong verbal, written, and leadership skills as well as project management skills to insure a smooth transition for client relocating to new space. Responsible for maintaining a database of 800 customers under PM CSA contract with Michigan CAT. Contact each customer at the appropriate time to schedule preventative maintenance and repair work. Dispatch field service mechanics to jobs. Cover for Field Service Supervisor when required. • Implement GPS tracking and mobile offices on all field trucks in 2003.• Substitute as Field Service Supervisor for eleven months until position was filled.• Daily direct supervision of twenty-two mechanics. • Maintain files on individual mechanic’s training records.• Work with mechanics to schedule next appropriate training class.• Manage small and large projects as required.• Responsible for fleet maintenance - over twenty field service vehicles as well as eight load banks and three utility trailers.
