Jeffry Lim is an internationally-acclaimed photographer specialising in sea, land and aerial photography. With camera in hand since 1995, his diverse experience includes works for top Forbes 500 companies, spanning across the oil and gas, offshore, marine and corporate sectors. A multi-linguist with a hearty zest for adventure, Jeffry’s pursuits have brought him from the highest of heights to the extreme outdoor conditions across the globe. His visual escapades have culminated in the production of mesmerizing pictorial book projects, such as the Petronas Trans Himalayas, Petronas South Asia Expedition and Petronas Euroasia. His aerial photography photo book entitled ‘Aspiring New Zealand’ has won over 13 global photography and book awards, including:• 1st Place for ‘Best Nature Photo Book’ Category in International Photography Awards (IPA 2018), New York• Gold Prize in ‘Best Nature Book’ category in the Tokyo International Foto Awards• Award-Winning Finalist in the ‘Photography’ category of the 2019 International Book Awards in American Book Festival• Budapest International Foto Awards• Creative Communications Awards in Los Angeles Amongst other notable assignments, he captured both still and time-lapse photography on the development of the ExxonMobil Malaysia Enhanced Oil Recovery (EOR) technology platforms from inception to final installation, Pengerang Terminal’s second world largest deep-water oil storage terminal and its deep-water jetty facility that facilitate handling of Very Large Crude Carriers (VLCCs), and Petronas world’s first Floating LNG ship in Korea. Jeffry has also worked with several documentary and media companies such as the National Geographic Channel, National Geographic Traveler, Discovery Channel and Associate Press (AP) for their broadcast and print editorial coverage. He has also appeared on TV as a photographer tutor to host Malaysia’s Top Make-Up Artist (MUA) program in Malaysia and Indonesia.
