Jeff is a proven executive, entrepreneur, and electrical engineer with a diversehardware and software design portfolio spanning complex SoC silicon, mechatronics, IoT, videocompression, CGI, image processing, film scanning and machine learning. He was founder and CEO of ComplexIQ, a designer of multi-gigabit networkingsilicon and software used in over 50 million devices worldwide. As CEO, Jeff woncomplex, multi-million dollar intellectual property licensing contracts withIntel, Cisco, ST Microelectronics and other international semiconductormanufacturers.Prior to founding ComplexIQ, Jeff led Cisco's silicon development team, buildingmulti-CPU/GPU Linux IoT video delivery systems, DOCSIS cable modems, andnetworking gateways for clients such as Comcast, Time Warner, and Cox. As an engineer, Jeff designed computer generated imagery and video contentcreation workstations for Silicon Graphics and Intergraph Computer Systems. Heholds 14 patents in networking, computer graphics and video processing, and isthe principal author of a peer-reviewed research publication to be presented atthe 2023 IEEE International Conference on Robotics and Automation (ICRA) inLondon.Jeff earned an MBA from Georgia Institute of Technology and a BSEE fromMississippi State University. He is currently serving on the board of advisorsfor three organizations from Georgia Tech/ATDC/VentureLab: Braselton Tech, Falcomm, and iVue Robotics.
