Jeff is an attorney in Vogel's Fargo office and focuses his practice on the areas of criminal defense and civil litigation. Jeff received his Juris Doctor, magna cum laude, from the University of North Dakota School of Law and was elected to Order of the Coif. While in law school, Jeff served as a judicial extern to the Honorable Alice Senechal, Magistrate Judge for the District of North Dakota and Symposium Editor for the North Dakota Law Review. Jeff attended North Dakota State University during his undergraduate education, and received a Bachelor of Science in Political Science, and a minor in Psychology. Prior to law school, Jeff was employed as a firefighter for the City of Fargo for eight years.Following law school, Jeff completed a one-year judicial clerkship for the Honorable Jon J. Jensen, Chief Justice of the North Dakota Supreme Court and a two-year judicial clerkship for the Honorable Peter D. Welte at the United States District Court for the District of North Dakota. Prior to working at Vogel, he was in private practice at another local law firm.
