Application ArchitectWorld Vision Usa Sep 2006 - Jan 2015Federal Way, Washington, Us► Pioneered web services within World Vision US, including a complete RESTful API for donor, child, and donation capture. These services provide deep search capability for children available to sponsor. They enable full featured donor self-service. They are the single most important channel for order capture within the organization► Designed and developed a complete unit testing framework for automated testing of Oracle Stored Procedures. This framework is currently part of our Continuous Integration practice and runs hundreds of tests per release. It has enabled a level of confidence in our development processes that database stored procedure releases have dropped from every 6 months to monthly, with significant improvement in quality► Implemented tokenization of credit card data within all World Vision data-at-rest systems. This allowed significant reduction in our PCI Audit scope as well as dramatic risk reduction. Tokenization capabilities are provided by fully secured and encrypted web services. These designs, services, procedures, and all other elements have passed annual QOS and/or internal audits► Key contributor to Oracle eBusiness Suite upgrade. This project fully upgraded the platform and modules► This role “transformed everything” from how I work to the way I think.
