About Jeff Steer

As Head of Deposit Product Management for Citi, I am responsible for the development and growth of consumer and small business deposit products aligned with client segment strategies and distribution channels in the Retail and Wealth segments. I lead a team of product management professionals accountable for the strategic development and management of Citi's deposit portfolio while managing profitability drivers to ensure deposit products meet financial goals.I have been with Citi for over two decades in varying payments and deposit product management roles. Accomplishments while at Citi include leading the launches of Zelle and Real Time Payments. More recent accomplishments include leading several regulatory initiatives, along with Citi's program to eliminate consumer overdraft fees. Prior to Citi, I held roles in the payments industry with Fiserv and Cash Station, Inc. I graduated from Rutgers University. My wife and I have three college age sons and we live in Essex Fells, NJ.
