Interport is a Newark-based container depot that stores, modifies and sells shipping containers. We provide strategic guidance to the CEO and his management team on issues related to line of business diversification, overall growth, profitability and prioritization. Responsible for the entire studio business, which currently includes sound stages and production services. The 600-person business currently includes ~ 70 sound stages with another 30 in the pipeline as well as a variety of production services (trucks, trailers, grip & lighting, production supplies, heavy equipment and expendables) we’ve added through multiple acquisitions. We have operations in Los Angeles, NYC, Atlanta, New Orleans and London. The Sunset Studio part of the business is a joint venture between Blackstone and Hudson Pacific. Our growth is from real estate acquisition and development, acquisition of operating companies and organic growth.

SEMCO Aerospace is a privately held aviation maintenance company, servicing commercial airlines and the general aviation market from facilities in New Jersey and Texas. SEMCO provides maintenance services as well as leasing and trading of safety equipment. Acquired in December 2002, I operated and grew this aviation maintenance and repair business as President & CEO from 2003 – 2010, before making an external appointment.
