I oversaw and managed the day-to-day operations of Steeplejack’s IT Department, as well as oversaw the System Application development kept us on the leading edge of our industry. I helped bridge the gap between what our customer’s require and request and what we can provide from the technology side of Steeplejack. We built our own custom software and Web applications within Steeplejack that keep us leading of all other companies within our industry.I oversaw a the IT department that looked after the IT needs of over 300+ computers spread across western Canada.I was part of the Project Team that Scoped/Designed and Implemented SAP for Steeplejack, and was also involved in the on-going support of the system.

I was involved in all aspect of the Application and Web Development for several Major Projects for Steeplejack. Everything from conception to business analysis to the actual Development and roll out of the applicationsSteeplejack Online This project was the next step in development for all aspects of Steeplejack's Day-to-Day needs. It's an ongoing project that evolves as our industry evolves. It is built within C#, with a SQL Server 2008 back end. It uses JQuery, as well as Microsoft's AJAX components, and is a fully interactive site, with top encryption and security. It runs all aspects of our business, for everything from Time Entry to Material and Asset Management to Safety and Real time Reporting.Steeplejack Invoicing System. I built a VB6 application to handle the invoicing of all Steeplejack's Business. This including a web interface for transferring and updating the information from the remote locations throughout Western Canada to the Head office. The application would generate the specific Invoices based on the requirements from the Customers, then upload the information into our Unix Based Accounting package at the time.Safety Management System: I built an in house Safety management system built within VB6, Access, and Crystal Reports. This system included a web interface to transfer data from the field to the head office. IT includes everything from Incident Reporting, Planned Inspections, Near Miss Entry. It this analyzes the data based on entry to determine on-going trends and analysis.
