As the Director of Technology and Information, I have been instrumental in shaping the technological landscape within Lewis County Schools. My multifaceted role encompasses various critical functions: Roles: Technology and Information Systems, WVEIS, Assessment, and Professional Development. Oversee a functioning network infrastructure and technology operations at all levels.  Monitor and allocate annual technology budgets of over $1.5million. Supervise and evaluate all technology staff.  Ensure compliance, training, and implementation of all state standardized assessments.  Developed and coordinated educational technology initiatives with a focus on increasing student achievement. Coordinates and manages successful Erate projects and funding for Category 1 and Category 2.  Spearheaded federal and state grant projects that have increased student safety, security, and achievement. Managed and built the transition to new software systems (WVEIS, Schoology, eWalk, Apptegy, Droplet, etc). Develop and submit County Technology Plan to comply with WVDE guidelines.  Collaborate with county supervisors to develop, implement, and monitor the County Strategic Plan. Manages technology procurement, inventory, and recycling.

Robert L. Bland Middle School- Weston, Wv

Oversaw and coordinated all technology needs and efforts at Robert L. Bland Middle School. Designed and and delivered data-driven professional development to faculty and administrators. In addition, I was the School Testing Coordinator for the various assessments required by the WVDE. I worked with the county office to contribute to the decision-making process of county level funds. I was a member of the school leadership team that organized and planned various school-wide projects. I was also responsible for the school and county websites. In this position I became familiar with WVEIS (statewide SIS) with regard to reports, student rosters, and student grading. Professional development was the focus of this position. I monitored educator professional learning progress and I created and recorded a professional development plan targeting critical need areas. I offered a variety of professional development opportunities for school and county employees.

Wvlearns Elearning (Web-Based)

Offer professional development, with a focus on 21st century education, to teachers, administrators, and school personnel through the WVLearns Online Learning platform. This is a contracted secondary position that is web-based and offered per semester through the West Virginia Department of Education.
