I reduce complex issues to fundamental problems that need to be solved and make sure everyone is contributing to the team and pulling in the same direction!!A career submarine and nuclear power officer in the US Navy, I had the privilege of commanding USS MARYLAND (SSBN 738), Task Force SIX NINE (CTF-69), and the Undersea Warfighting Development Center (UWDC). Over the past decade, I transitioned to national security operations, intelligence, and Information Warfare coordinating operations and capability development within Navy, the Department of Defense, and Intelligence Communities.I am a sudden cardiac arrest (SCA) survivor. A SCA has a survival rate of only 10%. The very rapid actions of bystanders and availability of an AED saved my life. The group I was with responded in under 60 seconds of flatlining and collapsing. I am passionate about CPR/AED training and now provide training and/or certification to groups and individuals.
