The mission of the Onondaga County Bar Association (OCBA) is to inspire excellence in the legal profession, to foster the fair administration of justice, to promote equal access to the legal system, and to serve and support its members. The mission of the Onondaga County Bar Foundation, the philanthropic arm of the Onondaga County Bar Association, is to improve and promote professional ethics and responsibility; service to the public and legal community; access to the legal system for all; the administration of justice; and legal research and education.

Responsible for all internal and external communications, community affairs and public relations activities, as well as support for governmental and legal reporting requirements. Spokesman for the Division. Direct contributions and in-kind support for community-based organizations. Effectively use a variety of media and activities (news releases, news conferences, videos, live teleconferences, special events) to enhance the Division's image in our communities and in our workplaces.Manage annual rate adjustment notifications (customer and media), customer service issues and programming challenges. Proactively promote launch of new products and services. React to emerging issues and plan crisis communications strategies.

Customer and employee communications, support for Cable in the Classroom, responsible for media and community relations.

Membership and public communications for a 3,500-member business association. Managed staff of five; responsible for monthly Chamber newsletter, Chamber events (annual meeting, Economic Forecast Luncheon) and dedication of new Chamber headquarters facility in 1991.
