Mr. Utterback has over 30 years of management and engineering experience in the security and safety industry, doing security products and business development for Itochu affiliate companies, growing this organization at a CAGR of 170%. Prior to this he was in executive management for General Electric, where he ran multiple operations servicing the surface transportation industry and nuclear power generation. He did his undergraduate work toward his BSEE through a cooperative program with Texas Instruments and Texas Tech in Lubbock Texas. He also has an Electronic Engineering Technology degree from the Electronics Institute in Kansas City, Missouri. He earned a Six Sigma Master Black Belt and completed The Leadership Challenge through General Electric Company. He is a U.S. Patent holder in infrared measurement technology. Also, he is a Senior Member of the American Society of Quality, member of ASTM, ASIS and was a member of the IEEE WG4 working group. Additionally he sits on the Board of Directors for a non-profit organization and is active in the local community.
