As a consultant for a diverse slate of international companies including Ritz Interactive and Drawn & Quarterly Publishing I was responsible for the strategy, planning, production, and operation of mission-critical commerce, entertainment, and community web experiences. I helped traditionally-focused companies realize significant revenue growth and seismic cultural shifts through thinking of the online components of their businesses as holistic ecosystems.

In this position I owned the strategy, planning, and implementation of new products and features as well as the day-to-day web operations of the largest photographic retailer on the Internet. I conceived of, designed, and built one of the first large-scale community-based photo sharing and critique products in the world. During a serious economic downturn we managed to continue to grow the business at a remarkable pace through disciplined business practices and a sharp focus on the bottom line. I worked in every division of the company, from building key site features to conducting strategic research to customer relationship management.
