I am the Director of the Finance and M&A department at Zavanna. Our team is responsible for all corporate finance and M&A decisions to help achieve our financial targets.• Built and integrated many financial and M&A models into the company to help us become more accurate and efficient• Responsible for annual and 5-year plan budget that is presented and approved by the BOD• Perform variance analysis on forecasts to actual financial performance and identifies where improvements can be made• Identifies financial needs for the company and use my network of contacts in financial institutions, PE, debt, and family offices to meet those needs• Manage and develop junior members on my team• Responsible for multiple financial models that drive the company's decisions on a daily basis• Develop reports and presentations to present to the BOD on a quarterly basis• Maintain close working relationships with our operations group to understand key drives that impact the company• Lead the team that negotiates all financial and M&A contracts including, but limited to; CA/NDA's, credit agreements, PSA's, MSA's, and equity agreements• Responsible for all acquisition activity starting with identifying acquisition targets through valuation, negotiation, and closing• Part of the executive team that strategizes how to grow the company in a responsible and ethical way

• Manage and develop technical team that evaluates acquisition deals • Take technical valuation from beginning to end o Set up a good line of communication with seller / investment bankers o Execute CA’s o Attend datarooms o Build Aries databases o Work with Land to identify any development timing issues o Asset analysis of LOE, D&C capital, & production volumes o Perform economic analysis o Build presentations for senior management and LG o Present and defend valuation to senior management and LG o Initial deal screening - make sure deal size and structure is an appropriate fit for FE o Execute CA’s o Prepare PSA exhibits o Closing and post-closing settlement statements• Manage deal timing expectations with senior management and investors to make sure we keep on track with valuations• Work closely with investors and bank to determine appropriate financing options for acquisition purchase• Develop acquisition team to get everyone on the team in a place where they can perform thorough and accurate valuations with little assistance• First line of communication with investors and senior management• Work closely with reserves and accounting teams to ensure most accurate acquisition assumptions• Help to develop innovative deal structures that are beneficial and attractive to both parties• Keep a pulse on industry trends in the Williston basin including costs, expenses, production, rig counts, targeted development areas, operators, etc.• Manage projects that will help make our team more efficient (i.e. implementation of Spotfire and Aries)

I work for the Acquisitions and Divestiture team in the Denver office. My team focuses on the financial analysis of companies located in the Piceance, Williston, Uinta and DJ Basins.• Potential projects include corporate acquisitions, bolt-on acreage to current assets, assist Land with trades and small acreage acquisitions, divest non-core assets.• Denver Lead of financial analysis of acquisition targets.• Project manager; coordinating and directing the asset teams as to what data is needed for an evaluation.• Work closely with geoscientists, reservoir engineers, and operations to devise field development plans and drilling locations.• Work closely with exploration geoscientists to build practical Aries databases to help in WPX's evaluation of potential new acreage positions.• Develop production forecasts for acreage positions WPX is evaluating.• Perform practical economic analysis of recommendations from geoscientists, reservoir engineers, and operations.• Present recommendations for projects to senior management and board of directors.
