Since purchasing the business, established a management structure, reworked all customer facing aspects of the company to be more response oriented and customer focused. Established a continuous process improvement review for our service deliverables, as well as monthly RTFT (Right The First Time) measurement. Created the spec and helped design/execution/rollout of a proprietary FileMaker Pro database to run the company’s internal and external operations. Increased our service capabilities by 50%, increased sales by 100%.

Responsible for managing the client relationship and identifying/setting up/delivering new business opportunity’s to grow the account. Involved in all business phases and all deliverables – On-site Support, Account Services, IT Development and Support, Design, Comping, Production Art, Prepress, Retouching, 3D, Photography, and Digital and Conventional Printing.

Managed a group of 14 Client Service Reps, assistants and support personnel, covering 10 brands in 6 categories of work for 2 large CPG companies. Oversaw all day-to-day departmental activities, including interaction between internal depts, other Schawk divisions, outside sales staff and client contacts. Responsible for restructuring the Client Services dept., organized and led R&D teams for writing departmental SOP's. Organized and led the Schawk Smart Source Workflow Development and Implementation Team, key member of the Schawk P&G RFP strategy and delivery team. Asked to take over as lead on the P&G Duracell account to facilitate and strengthen interaction with the client, as well as manage and train the internal and external/on-site account team.

In addition to all PPM responsibilities, was appointed Lead PPM and On-Site Manager for 5 PPM's on the P&G Business. Responsible for organizing and leading process improvement teams and creation of training tools to increase market penetration of Schawk's creative services. Took an active role with all PPM's to ensure consistency of communication for Schawk's product offering, as well as divisional and corporate messaging.

On-site Business Unit Manager for all Prepress and Production Art on the Snacks, Coffee, Juice categories at P&G (Billion dollar brands: Pringles, Folgers). Expanded Schawk's offering by selling in additional services: Production Art, 3D, Large Format Printing, Digital Photography, and Comping. Responsible for, print feasibility assessments for new designs on all primary packaging, lead conceptual designs, and pre-production planning meetings to determine timing and advise on printability issues and solutions. Integral part of the upstream and downstream artwork approval process between brand managers, production managers, regulatory dept., structural dept., designers, prepress house, engravers, plate-makers, printers, manufacturers, and co-packers. Attended press runs and worked with printers when needed to ensure design intent was being achieved. Created volume forecast reports, quarterly business review presentations, why-why analysis and corrective action reports. On-boarded new studios and printers to the P&G Artwork Process, was key interface with studios for quality of incoming files, and with printers when delivered errors where identified.
