I had the pleasure of managing the growth of production for a rapidly growing Flexo division, since 2008 when Flower City Printing began its venture into Flexography. The division started with 1 Flexo press, 1 shift in 2008. Managing included: - Oversight and coordination of operations for 4 flexographic presses, running three shifts. - Inventory management of pressroom supplies and materials such as; ink, anilox, rollers, and other operation related supplies. - Schedule and oversee maintenance of presses, rewinders and other print production equipment. - Personnel management of press operators, rewinders, plate makers, ink room personnel.Major customers have included: Hanes, Bali, Dollar General, and Ommegang Brewery.Flower City Printing offers wide format offset printing, digital, flexo, finishing, kit-packing, and warehousing.

Preparing files for digital output, creating layouts for plating. Silhouette and color correct images. Modify images from slight retouching to heavy manipulation. Troubleshooting problem files, and fonts. Maintain calibration of equipment.

Building prototypes for proof of concept using metal, plastic, and wood. Created model and molds using; Bridgeport Mill, lathe, breaks, saws, welder, torches, planer, jointer, drum sander, belt sander. Finishing and painting to look like the final product, for photo shoots, and presentations.

Worked as a certified BMW technician. From light repairs and oil changes to transmission swapping, and engine rebuilding. Earned certification for the 5 liter V12 engine.
