ASAM was designed to cultivate a core of mobility experts to lead Air Mobility Command in the future. One of only 15 students selected from 70 DoD-wide applicants--completed 13 courses in 13 months earning a 3.94 GPA.

Supervised Dover Air Force Base's aviation standardization program and evaluated command abilities, leadership, operational capabilities and flying proficiency of all aviators in the 436th Airlift Wing. Monitored the qualifications and readiness of over 1,000 flight personnel.

Led the commander's support staff and oversaw day-to-day operations, policies, scheduling, evaluations and executive correspondence for the group commander. The Operations Group consisted of two flying squadrons, one support squadron and one aerial port squadron with oversight of $6.5 billion in assets.
