Served as an executive leader with accountability and oversight of medical group operations, revenue cycle, provider compensation contracting, practice acquisition/on-boarding and strategic planning for LifePoint Health multi-state physician practices.

Led a management team with accountability and oversight for over 400 physicians and mid-level providers, 85 practice locations and revenues in excess of $50 million. Responsibilities included clinical and non-clinical operations, performance improvement initiatives, patient satisfaction, budgeting and financial management, human resources, strategy and recruitment.

Provided executive leadership to a 35 physician multi-specialty group including a team of 300 employees with multi-site clinic locations and ancillary services.

Led THA Solutions Group, the products and services division of the Tennessee Hospital Association. Focused on providing cost effective services to THA member hospitals across the state. Responsibilities included building member relationships and member retention, vetting vendor products and services for inclusion in the THA Solutions Group portfolio, sales of products and services to members, management consulting services in operations, strategic planning and managed care.

Provided executive leadership for the outreach and relationship building efforts of Covenant Health with surrounding service area hospitals to develop referral networks and collaborative relationships. Coordinated, managed and assisted in the negotiation of merger, acquisition and joint venture opportunities for the health system. Developed provider networks and facilitated provider relations for a new joint ventured managed care plan.

Served as the chief operations officer for a 425 - bed acute care tertiary level hospital with accountability for clinical and non-clinical hospital departments, clinical quality of care, patient satisfaction, physician relations and financial performance.
