Responsible for inspiring, leading, and growing a sales organization in the US education community that is focused on fundamentally changing the way PreK-6 teachers and administrators view and teach mathematics. Our goal is to help school districts prepare students for careers in a society that may not yet exist. Our mission is to make mathematics enjoyable, meaningful, and accessible to all. We believe that every child can succeed in mathematics given the right instruction, resources, and support. We believe that learning is a social process and that technology should support teachers, not replace them. It is my passion and my goal to make ORIGO Education the market leader in the Pre-K-6 reform mathematics marketplace.

Responsible for leading a team of highly motivated sales professionals, accelerating growth by meeting the needs of teachers and students with products and services in the 6-12 reform mathematics market that are standards based and aligned to the Common Core State Standards. Products include research based print and digital content, ground breaking cloud based tutorial software whose roots are based in cognitive science research at Carnegie Mellon University and industry leading embedded professional development for teachers and administrators focusing on the unique needs of each district and the standards of mathematical practice.

Currently lead a sales team of sales representatives and district managers in a 9 state region in the South Region for McGraw-Hill School Education Group. Sales imprints include Macmillan K-5, Glencoe 6-12, SRA, and Wright Group imprints.

Manged the 23 states in the East Area sales territory for McGraw-Hill Solutions Group comprising the Macmillan K-5 and Glencoe 6-12 imprints.

Lead a team of 6-12 sales representative and Regional Vice-Presidents in three state adoption regions including the Atlantic Southeast, Florida, and South Central Regions. Administered the sales of Glencoe basal, elective and McGraw-Hill Higher Ed instructional materials.

Lead a sales team of state adoption sales representatives in the states of Virginia, North Carolina, South Carolina, and Georgia of Glencoe 6-12 basal and elective course instructional materials.

Lead a multi state sales team in the sales of instructional materials in the 6-12 and Private Career School markets in the Mid-Atlantic Region. Imprint included SouthWestern, Delmar, Brooks/Cole, Wadsworth and Course Technology.

Sales representative in Central and Southwestern Virginia selling the SouthWestern Publishing Company imprint as well as Wadsworth, Delmar, Hienle and Hienle, Brooks Cole, and Course Technology.

Started as a floor sales rep. Named "salesman of the month" three times in 1987. Was chosen to compete in the National Mazda "Walkaround Challenge" and came in 2nd place in the regional competition in Atlantic City, NJ. Promoted to F&I Manager in early 1988.

This is my hometown high school and I chose to return with the ambition of better preparing students to function and thrive at college.I was responsible for preparing students in grades 9-12 for college and careers by inspiring interest and a competitive spirit in the fields of marketing, management, economics, entrepreneurship, and retail..
