Responsible for establishing Genesys’ global strategic alliances group and growing the AppFoundry marketplace.

Telstra is the largest telecommunications service provider in Australia. Responsible (P&L) for Telstra’s global customer engagement and contact solutions product portfolio in Australia and globally in conjunction with Telstra's Australian tollfree Inbound Services (1800/1300). Heading up the Contact Solutions product group to transition Telstra’s product offers from CPE and bespoke centric solutions to cloud SaaS consumption models with repeatable and scalable service packages. Responsible for a team of product managers (Australia and Singapore), intersecting with matrix teams for sales, pre-sales, services and support with an additional ecosystem of vendors and partners globally. Offering solutions utilising best of breed partners via Genesys, Cisco and Avaya with end to end solutions and interoperability with CRM (Salesforce), Telstra’s Microsoft O365 Skype for Business/Teams, Cisco HCS Collaboration and Broadsoft TIPT solutions. Achievements included: Built and established Telstra’s first cloud offerings in market and achieved growth of ~23% of revenue within 3 years with 70% being based on new customers. Improved profitability (EBITDA) by 39.5% in 3 years by implementing repeatable, scalable and profitable annuity and service offerings. Established Telstra as the leading Genesys PureCloud partner in Australasia from launch to over 100 customers delivered in < 18 months. Built and executed indirect partner channel in Australia to deliver above budget in 1st year. Built and executed Telstra’s first global cloud based contact centre offer in Australia, Asia-Pacfic, India, EMEA and US.

My role was to develop and manage the product line to grow revenues by delivering innovative products and new commercial models (hosted/cloud, CPE and hybrids). In addition I had a cross-functional role as a strategy lead for the Unified Communications product portfolio. Achievements included: Established Telstra’s first major partner build and operate model for cloud contact centres and as a result negotiated the first Genesys Cloud partnership globally. Developed IVR strategy and offer to assist in winning Telstra’s largest customer Department of Human Services (Federal Govt) single managed services contract of $474m. Development of Telstra’s Unified Communication strategy across the product portfolio to drive and develop new innovation and commercial models.

Isoton/OASIS Systems provides mission critical telephony applications and solutions across PSTN, Mobile and IP networks for mobile operators, MVNOs and service providers globally. Leaders in telephony, delivering voice and video including IN SS7 networking, IN SCP, IVR, IVVR, SMS, MMS, IP Media Server, Prepaid & PostPaid Billing, Lawful Interception and mobile integration. I joined OASIS Systems to develop and drive a new 3G video based service bureau subsidiary and related product offerings. Achievements included: creation of new subsidiary OASIS Nexus a hosted service bureau to deliver complete outsourced services. Major clients include VHA (Hutchison 3), MobileActive and IMG. Product development of mobile video based services, 3G Video IVVR, IP Video Chat, 3G Video to Web Video, Video Call Completion, VideoMail, Video Real Estate. Product development of hosted MVNO product and parental mobile product. Development of key relationships and revenues within Australia including Hutchison 3, Vodafone and internationally in India and South East Asia. Development of reseller channel with Alcatel-Lucent and Verizon.

Informatel is a leading interactive telecommunications service provider that assists clients to connect with their customers via telephony, call centres, IVR, SMS, MMS, email, mobile applications and the Web. I joined Informatel as Information Services Manager to take control of the technology of the company and align it to the company strategy. In recognition of my achievements I was appointed Chief Operating Officer and subsequently General Manager.Achievements included: winning Sensis 1234/Telstra Directory Assistance contract, Telstra Traceable time service contract, Telstra/Transurban Premium SMS Micropayment partnership. Established Informatel’s mobile and SMS capabilities to win the Nine Network promotional mobile services and run some of the largest interactive campaigns in Australia. Won services for Hoyts, Carsales.com.au, NineMSN, RACV, Dodo Internet.
