(2018 to Present) Drilled a successful 2-mile gas-liquids Montney horizontal.Geotechnical evaluation of non-operated Cardium Formation horizontal drilling opportunities to decide to participate or not to participateSupervised geo-steering operations for 3 successful Montney gas-condensate horizontals. Generated geological prognosis, sampling programs, and procured well-site consultants. Collaborated with asset team members and drilling department to create team communication, corporate reporting, and geo-steering protocols. Also, identified and documented geo-hazards and risk mitigation plans in a risk-register document. Co-presenter of “Geomodelling to Optimize Well Designs in the Montney” presented at the 2021 CSPG Geoconvention.Designed a multi-well Montney horizontal pad by picking heel targets and horizontal lateral reservoir placement. Organized a 55 Montney location development plan that targets 2 Montney benches using 2-mile-long horizontals drilled from multi well pads. Collaborated in the construction of a Montney geo-model with a third-party consultant that aided in the development and optimization of the Plug & Perf completion design for a Montney horizontal.Identified an inventory of 30 Spirit River drilling locations. Co-authored, Harvest’s Deep Basin development strategy detailing Harvest’s Montney and Spirit River area development plans.Evaluated and recommended to participate in 6 Cardium horizontals drilling notices in the Ferrier area.
