Hi, I’m Jefte, and I am passionate about visual design.I live to create branding projects from the ground up, develop campaigns, provide quality creative direction, and design apps, websites, and digital experiences. I am a life-long learner who is deeply invested in art and technology. I have a voracious appetite for knowledge and problem solving.Over 18 years in-house experience and strong project management skills. I am extremely comfortable interacting with clients from start to finish and extracting their desires and needs for a project. Passionate about graphic arts and UX design, with a keen eye for imperfections. Programming and mobile environments do not intimidate me, and I enjoy using version control software and bug/issue trackers. I love working with talented programmers to deploy meaningful interfaces. Able to roughly navigate and understand code like PHP / JS / jQuery and make simple modifications, however, I seek to improve my coding proficiency. Extremely proficient with the WordPress platform, with over 15 years of experience in customizing and managing websites on this platform. Very proficient with print typesetting tools like InDesign, textile design and other merchandise design. My worst fear is producing a mediocre product. In my free time I like to design/print 3D models and fly remote control aircraft.

Duties varied depending on needs and upcoming events but always focused primarily on the: branding, marketing, website and social media for the company and the drone racing events it sanctions.Notable projects include:- Branding and marketing of all company programs and race events to grow membership and expandour audience internationally. Grew sponsorships with leading industry manufacturers and managed the planning of events.Created incentives for drone racing clubs to be a part of our league, including standard course signage, branded apparel and equipment. Resulting in the explosive growth of the league from 14 member clubs domestically to over 760 clubs internationally and increasing the membership to over 30,000 users.- UX design lead for the brand’s recently launched mobile appFinding local drone races was a problem our users faced and one that we sought to streamline and optimize. As UX design lead I worked with the iOS development team to establish user stories, wireframe mockups and flowcharts that defined the user interactions.- A complete overhaul of the brand website, integrating a WordPress front end and integrating aweb commerce platform for ticket sales and merchandise.In addition to redesigning the website to match the new branding we identified that a significant percentage of our sales were lost to ticket fees from 3rd party services. An ecommerce solution was integrated into the website, allowing us to capture an additional 10% revenue from ticket sales and additional revenue from merchandise and apparel sales. -

While at Artemis I was involved with and provided graphical designs for over a dozen project interfaces and numerous websites. Additionally, I worked with their team of talented programmers deploy the approved wireframes and mockups of various user interactions. Together we moved the software out of an aging table-based layout to a modern, responsive interface using Bootstrap, HTML5 and polished micro-interactions that increased the software usability and serviceability.-Designed American Advertising Federation Award-winning responsive websites for clients.-Redesign of entire company branding and identity, including print collateral, sales documents, brochures, business cards, letterhead, signage, website and American Advertising Federation award-winning vehicle wraps for their service vehicles. -
