Coo And Head Of New Product DevelopmentInnovative Travel Oct 2012 - Feb 2014Amsterdam Area, NetherlandsInnovative Travel is a start-up specialized in hotel meta-search for and where I am end responsible for IT and new product development. We compare offerings of hundreds of travel sites in order to provide full transparency on hotel prices, and I have led the project to automate the creation of online marketing campaigns in over 15 languages for over 400.000 individual hotels; a function which allowed the company to scale significantly over the past year. Exploring my entrepreneurial skills and aspirations, I drove all recruitment efforts over the past year and am very proud of the excellent team we have gathered. Of additional work in product development, I have also led the introduction of our new website design, our first mobile app, and a large-scale project to replace the Google AdWords Editor with our own software based on the AdWords API. -

The team has the global responsibility for all of Maersk Line’s refrigerated containers, sets the strategy on where to employ the containers in periods of scarcity and decides on which areas to grow the reefer activities – so for this I was in almost daily communication with marketing and sales managers around the globe. Additionally, I was trained in the Green Belt and lean methodology and was the commercial lead for a very innovative project to significantly reduce customers’ cold storage facility costs. -
