Lead officer for Local Enterprise Partnership - the authority's principle forum for engagement with the local business community. Key work includes co-ordination and production of the Tees Valley Net Zero Strategy and policy proposal paper for the future of Local Enterprise Partnerships adopted in the government's Levelling Up White Paper.

Councillor for Tow Law division, Acting Chair of General and Statutory Licensing Committee, Member of Children and Young People Scrutiny Panel, member of working group on improving council communications and Vice -Chair of Three Towns Area Action Partnership.Key achievements include securing funding for three new play areas in my division, bringing networked CCTV to the Tow Law area and a number of anti-speeding measures, including the establishment of a fully-equipped community speedwatch team.
