Highpoint Center for Printmaking is a non-profit organization dedicated to advancing the art of printmaking. Its goals are to provide educational programs, community access, and collaborative publishing opportunities to engage the community and increase the appreciation and understanding of the printmaking arts. As Executive Director, I provide overall administrative, strategic and operational responsibility for Highpoint’s organizational structure, staff, programs, finances, and execution of its mission. I joined Highpoint August 1 and have embraced a collaborative leadership approach to engage staff, board, artists, and audiences, in conversations to expand upon the success of Highpoint’s 20-year foundation and collectively envision our future.

The Emerging Curators Institute (ECI) is a groundbreaking initiative designed to establish and build the individual practices of emerging curators—emphasizing women, gender-non-conforming, and BIPOC curators—through a collaborative and in-depth research, professional development, mentorship, and exhibition program. The project supports the growth of individual curatorial careers by providing extended 10-month access to learning resources outside of traditional academic channels including paired mentorship, connection to regional and national guest practitioners, monthly cohort meetings to advance their development. ECI also hosted a series of public programs featuring guest speakers to democratize access to individuals and conversations which are frequently inaccessible to general arts audiences. My achievements at ECI include:• Founding a first-of-its-kind learning program emphasizing women curators, non-binary curators, and curators of color, developed with community input;• Successfully fundraising over $160,000 for two seasons of annual programming through partnerships, individual giving, and state and foundational grants;• Building a team of staff utilizing a non-hierarchical, collaborative leadership model;• Developing and executing a communications and design strategy to bring awareness to the program and attract applicants, audiences, and media partners;• Together with the Education Director, devising a responsive educational curriculum for fellows and a public learning series;• Managing relationships with multiple funders, program advisory committee, mentors, venues, and program partners;• Together with staff, fellows, and advisory committee, evaluating programming and launching a second season

Both for the classroom and the broader Minnesota community, Macalester’s Law Warschaw Gallery is a portal to local, national, and international artists, their work and artistic dialogue, as well as a space for students, faculty, and the Twin Cities community to learn from the arts as a means to examine, transform, and communicate, individual and collective experiences. As Gallery Director and Curator, I oversee the gallery's exhibition program and the college’s growing art collection, create networked exhibitions, and engage our campus and the broader Minnesota art community through strategic partnerships and public programs.While here, I've advanced the gallery program by:• Revising the Law Warschaw Gallery’s mission and direction to better reflect the college’s values of multiculturalism, internationalism, and service to society, actively centering artists who identify as BIPOC and/or LGTBQAI+; • Fostering collaborative exhibition and program partnerships with artists, guest curators, faculty, staff, students, and Twin Cities community organizations;• Developing new prismatic audience engagement strategies through campus and community partnerships, refreshing communications campaigns and cultivating new relationships• Updating job duties and training program for a staff of 15 and encouraging an open model for contributing creatively to gallery programming;• Collaborating with the college’s Advancement department to oversee incoming donations, acquisitions, and fostering donor relationships;• Founding the college's first intra-campus art loan program; • Serving as key personnel on the project team to commission a public artwork honoring Alumni of Color; • Revising program budget and actively pursuing funds through grant-writing and earned income opportunities

Mn Artists is home to art, writing, opportunities and conversation, online and off, by, for and about Midwestern artists working in every discipline. Based out of the Walker Art Center, Mn Artists is dedicated to improving the quality and national visibility of regionally-rooted art, artists and cultural dialogue through a dynamic online community, responsive arts journalism, and by giving artists access to, and connections with, collaborators, influencers and the public. Mn Artists is made possible by generous support by the McKnight Foundation.• Directed the redesign and relaunch of mnartists.org, an artist-centric digital and living community, through a National Leadership grant from the Institute of Museums and Library services. This 3-year process involved assessing community need, defining software requirements, overseeing web development, quality assurance, beta testing, and strategic planning for marketing, outreach, distribution, and evaluation• Revised program mission, structure, and operations, to serve Minnesota artists within a broader artistic and professional community• Managed relationships with stakeholders, vendors, accounts, staff and internal departments• Developed a new, artist-centered topical programming series • Developed and managed partnerships with over 25 local and statewide arts and cultural organizations, including Regional Arts Councils, community organizations, and colleges• Oversight of multiple grants, budgets, and projects• Transitional and long-range planning with multiple stakeholders

• Produced programs and events with the Walker Art Center, and community partners, such as CSA: Community Supported Art in partnership with Springboard for the Arts, McKnight Fellowship for Photographers, mnartists.marketplace, Artist Designed Mini-Golf and Drawing Club.• Provided artistic vision in coordinating and executing of mnartists.org growing off-line programming• Developed audience outreach, marketing campaigns, and communication strategies• Managed program partnerships, including RainTaxi, Northern Spark, Silverwood Park, The Minneapolis Institute of Art, Forecast Public Art, Kickstarter, The Minneapolis College of Art and Design, and ArtPrize• Supervised support staff, revised and streamlined program workflow, and implemented best practices

• Provided tours for pre-school, K-12, adult and corporate groups• Produced training materials for 34 exhibitions and assisted in the training and coordination of over 120 tour guides• Managed the Information Guide program, training and coordinating over 30 front-line volunteers• Scheduled over 2,000 guided public and private tours, including 500 during Frida Kahlo• Developed new tour models for niche groups, including Happy Hour Tours and special day-long engagement events• Coordinated the production of 'Guide Lines,' a quarterly publication by Tour Guides
