Hello!My name is Jelani Foster, I am a student athlete at the University of Rhode Island. As a student-athlete I am pursuing a bachelor's degree in communications while also playing football for the URI Rams. Throughout out my experience in being a student athlete, I learned that balance and time management are major factors in success, and I make sure to emphasize that in my life.I am currently a Senior and I am excited to see what my next chapter holds as I plan to graduate and continue my football career as well as, look for opportunities to pursue my master's.I am someone who is very ambitious and eager to accomplish my goals. I have had my share of adversity and that is something I have never let stop me, so I am not going to stop now. I am committed to using my experiences and knowledge to one day be able to give back to black communities and help make the world a better place.
