Autoimmune disorders are severe chronic illnesses that affect people of all ages, often greatly changing their quality of life and thus having a serious socio-economic burden on society. My motivation is to contribute to finding successful treatment and improving the health of those affected. Especially I would like to develop safe cell-based therapies. At my most recent position, I was focusing on the development of therapies with regulatory T cells (Treg) which possess superior immunosuppressive capacities. The broad range of expertise in cell and molecular biology, flow-cytometry and immunology allows me to participate in many aspects of the research project. I am eager to learn new techniques and tackle with new technologies. My motivation is the highest in the teams with mutual respect and trust.
