During my study at the University of Technology Eindhoven I worked part time at Alius as a Research And Development Engineer. Here I worked on the design of mounting systems for solar panels as well as industrial scale heat exchangers.

The Design and Implementation of a Job Assignment Strategy in Automated Guided Vehicle SystemsVanderlande is developing new ways to handle baggage, products and parcels using Automated Guided Vehicle (AGV) systems. The introduction of these AGV systems pose interesting control challenges, one of which being the design of a suitable job assignment strategy. The goal of the job assignment strategy is to efficiently divide the jobs entering the system over the AGVs present in the system. The main focus of this graduation project was to design and implement a job assignment strategy that is generic to the different AGV systems within Vanderlande.
