I was born and grew up in the Netherlands. Always loved to be creative and studied commercial design. I’m passionate (and quite the nerd) about photography, especially analog photography. Love to travel and drive my motorcycle. Life has taken me to Scandinavia where I’ve spend the last 16 years in Sweden and Norway. Currently working with ensuring the best possible guest experience as a hotel manager at Classic Norway Hotels, and it seems I’ve found my calling in this. Through long experience in both retail and tourism I thrive on delivering the best possible experience to my customers and guests. I’m a quick learner, hard worker, perfectionist and have lots of empathy. I try to surround myself with likeminded people and people that have skill sets that complete my own to create the best possible team to reach my goals. My focus and expertise is in guest experience management. I strongly believe that a happy employee makes a happy guest. If the staff are well taken care of and are having a good time at work it creates a good atmosphere. This will be noticed by the guests and it will elevate their experience, resulting in happy guests, good reviews and higher ratings and returns. This applies to any business.
