I worked on several projects for the regional heat transition and positive energy districts. The largest project I worked on was in cooperation with the G4, on the financing of district heating networks. I was rewarded an 8.5/10 for this internship.

Giving workshops to high school children from 15 - 18 on sustainable entrepreneurship. This workshop is organized by Wageningen University in collaboration with Food Valley Network VO-HO.

During this year I worked at the startup incubator linked to Wageningen University, with its main goals to help develop entrepreneurial skills and businesses for WUR (PhD-)students and recent graduates. As a community manager I had two main tasks:1) Linking people in the StartHub community. I was the first point of contact for people wanting to develop their business idea. I helped them with their first steps in their entrepreneurial journey and linked them with the right people within the StartHub community. These could be experts, mentors, startup owners, trainers, teachers, people from StartLife or other students with entrepreneurial interests.2) Being responsible for the StartHub building. The place had 50+ working spaces of which most were rented to people with their own startups. I did the financial administration, renting contracts, maintenance and bookings of (workshop-)rooms.A thing that stood out during the year was that I initiated and hosted a monthly event series called the community night. This event brings together people that already have a business to discuss entrepreneurial related topics. Examples were 'how to celebrate succes' and 'how startup teams should be developed and managed'.

During this time I did research on the national and regional implications of the implementation of the São Francisco Integration Project. This is a water transfer in North-East Brazil, linking the Rio São Francisco to four North-Eastern states, all highly susceptible to long periods of drought.
