As the Director of Facility Operations at Houston Dynamo Football Club, I oversaw and managed the operations of a 35,000 sq. ft performance center and eight sporting fields for 10 years. I was responsible for professionally developing a team of four full-time staff members and ensuring the quality and safety of the facilities and services. I also worked closely with the EVP of Shell Energy Stadium and represented the facility at city board meetings and local neighborhood coalitions.During my tenure, I successfully spearheaded several initiatives that increased the revenue and reduced the expenses of the facility, such as negotiating contracts, adjusting prices, enhancing websites, and creating policies and procedures. I also assisted with the ownership acquisition of the performance center and oversaw the capital expenditures, renovations, maintenance, security, permitting, and fire safety of the facility. For my dedication and effort, I was nominated for the 40 Under 40 Award and received the Fields of Excellence Award twice. I have a M.A. in Sports Management and a B.S. in Exercise Science, and I am passionate about providing the best facility operations and customer service in the sports industry.
