With over a decade of experience in communications and community development, I am the Manager, Corporate Communications for Alberta Indigenous Opportunities Corporation (AIOC), a crown corporation that provides access to capital for Indigenous investments in major projects. I hold Public Relations and Communications Management, and Journalism certificates from Mount Royal University. I leverage my core competencies in copy-writing, editing, social media, design, and technology to create engaging and informative content, manage the website and online platforms, and support the internal and external communication needs of the organization. My mission is to foster a culture of collaboration, respect, and empowerment among the AIOC staff, Indigenous groups and stakeholders, and to promote the vision and values of the organization to the public. I am passionate about Indigenous community development and engagement, and I have successfully coordinated and facilitated multiple events, workshops, and initiatives with Indigenous groups, government bodies, partners, and investors.
