This role reported directly to a Group Account Director and was responsible for ensuring high quality, efficient and effective support to the team and primarily to their client Kellogg’s. Key responsibilities included: • Liaising with existing suppliers, developing new supplier contacts when required, and building good working relationships with clients. • Writing contact reports following client meetings to confirm details of what was discussed and future actions. • Conducting regular research to establish developments taking place within Kellogg’s marketplace, and reporting these findings back to both Kellogg’s and the internal Iris team. • Collating information from specific clients (within Kellogg’s) and internal Iris team members, to update and send out a weekly status report of current projects. • Providing support to the Iris team as and when required by carrying out a wide range of tasks that helped with specific jobs. For example, developing an in-depth competitor review to assist the internal team with preparing for the delivery of a pitch to a potentially new client.

Due to the size of the team a hands on approach was required. Key responsibilities included: • The management of various client accounts, providing efficient communication and liaison with the client, the design team and the suppliers. • Responding to, and handling, client queries via email, phone or in person.• Initiating new business opportunities and creating new target market database’s through attending local business events and cold calling. • Assisting in the preparation and completion of PQQ's and tenders.• Building strong working relationships at executive and operational levels from regular contact and liaison with existing clients/suppliers.• General accounts duties: processing invoices using Sage accounting system, paying supplier, chasing late payments and data entry of client accounts, etc
