I am currently an HR Business Partner at Willis Group Holdings plc, a leading global risk advisor, insurance and reinsurance broker, and am based in their Ipswich office. I am keen to gain further experience in the HR Generalist role and to progress further within the HR profession.I am a well organised and conscientious individual, who is reliable, punctual and well presented. I have a methodical approach to planning and organising and am a good time manager. I pride myself on my ability to look at queries from all angles in order to find the best possible resolution. I enjoy working and communicating with people. I thrive in environments where I have the opportunity to prove myself and to learn and take on new tasks and responsibilities, for example project work. I take pride in everything I do and set myself high standards which I try my hardest to achieve.I studied History at Undergraduate level achieving a First Class Degree. My degree equipped me with a wide range of transferable skills. In addition to analytical and research skills, my degree course augmented my communication skills, particularly the ability to express myself clearly, logically and concisely in oral and written communication. I have also completed a Postgraduate Diploma in Human Resources Management (Equivalent to CIPD Level 7 Advanced Diploma), which gave me a basis of HR theory to relate to the practical skills of my day to day role.
