During my internship at Syngenta Grangemouth, I was part of the Project Engineering department, contributing to several project teams. This tool facilitated efficient resource allocation, wage distribution per quarter optimising asset management with visual aids.Through these diverse projects, I gained valuable knowledge and hands-on experience within an industrial environment. As HWRacing's Project Manager, my primary role involves coordinating and overseeing all aspects of our projects and activities. I am enthusiastic about engineering and excited to lead our team in the thrilling world of formula - style racing. My main focus is on meticulous project planning, collaborating with team members to set clear objectives, realistic timeliness and goals. Effective communication is paramount, I organise regular department meetings to ensure everyone stays informed and address any challenges. Teams are to produce a prototype for a single-seat race car. The car must be low in cost, easy to maintain, and reliable, with high performance in terms of its acceleration, braking, and handling qualities.My role as a mechanical systems sub-team member includes analysis of brake discs using computer software Ansys, Aswell as using CAD software to design and develop the car break systems.

By observing the day-to-day operations and processes, I gained a deeper appreciation for the challenges of running a large-scale production facility.
