Provide first level support for Card Services business applications, job scheduling, file transfers, and data loads. This also includes code promotion, incident management (problem determination and recovery), user access management, security access and controls, work request management, event console management, job scheduling and execution, file and database table management, transfer/load/extract data management, workload management, media management, and application wellness checks, system performance management, capacity management, application and business data recovery, business continuity (BCP), and disaster recovery.Major responsibilities:• Conducts Functional, Stress for Mainframe JETS(Testing environment)• Batch Monitoring: Monitors all batch flow processing using proprietary and vendor tools and ensure completion in a timely fashion. Identifies delays/bottlenecks and resolves or escalates them to point persons assigned• Support other developers: Provides support for others involved in the resolution of abends and delays such as approving request (both job re-runs and dataset archiving), and queries involving space, run queue priority, and system performance.

Datacenter personnel handle a large volume of batch abends and issues that need to be evaluated, analyzed, prioritized and resolved. Abends and delays frequently have complex effects on other batch streams requiring the careful consideration and analysis of their implications. The client and counterpart have a very low acceptance of improper actions ad decisions leading to critical batch stream error or delay. Due to the reason that the team is relatively new, a keen eye is set to the team requiring them to commit little or no percentage of error at all.Major responsibilities:• Conducts Stress and Functional testing in Mainframe shadow environment.• Batch Monitoring: Monitors all batch flow processing using proprietary and vendor tools and ensure completion in a timely fashion. Identifies delays/bottlenecks and resolves or escalates them to point persons assigned.• Batch Support: Provides level 1 support for all batch abends, providing resolution or escalation to proper on-calls based on proprietary on-call repository. Coordinates closely with various Application Programmer Group (APG) on the timely resolution of all abends and conducts SWAT call whenever necessary.• Support other developers: Provides support for others involved in the resolution of abends and delays such as approving request (both job re-runs and dataset archiving), and queries involving space, run queue priority, and system performance.

Major responsibilities:• Provide client support and technical issue resolution via E-Mail, phone and other electronic medium. • Configuration of client's equipment to connect to the Internet via modem/DSL Router. • Configure software to connect to Internet application servers. • Provide training to clients in the use of system and applications as related to Internet. • Obtain general understanding of OS and application operations related to company offered services.• Identify and correct or advise, on operational issues in client computer systems. • Perform creation of new accounts using company provide software tools.
