With 4+ years experience as a Student Assistant II at Rowland Adult and Community Education, I have been equipped with skills essential to working in a professional environment. It was in this position where I first developed and continued to hone my clerical skills such as providing back-up support for the different departments from reducing the amount of student registrations to be processed, maintaining precise attention-to-detail with sensitive documents, running student data reports to even being the given go-to for all coffee runs.Meanwhile, I have also worked as a cashier at Big 5 Sporting Goods where I have recently been promoted to a part-time Assistant Manager. Working at Big 5 has allowed me to develop new relationships, as well as sharpen and apply my problem-solving skills under a typical fast-paced retail environment.However, both these positions have fine-tuned one major skill- interpersonal skill. Each shift at either job required me to deliver my best impression on every person I encountered, as well as give the best performance for each task assigned to me.As a recent graduate eagerly looking for more opportunities, I'm ready to present that same impression in all future endeavors.
