- Camp Kesem is a national organization supporting children who have been affected by a parent's cancer by organizing a free, week-long summer camp - As Development Chair, I sat on the executive board and co-lead the USC chapter's effort of 60+ counselors in raising more than $100,000, in order to send 115 kids to camp for free 2019 summer- Care for the kids during the week-long camp, provide emotional and physical support to these children by embodying the magic of Kesem: allowing kids to just be kids again.

- I evaluated changes in epithelial cell density over time by examining the retinas of rats who had experienced a pressure blast. - Through utilization of a Cellsens CX31 program and Olympus CX41 microscope, I transferred images from stained slides to a computer where I then put them through a Matlab code. This code was used to distinguish the endothelium cells from the sclera and to determine the length of the endothelium, thus enabling the density to be found.

- Assisted in the construction of gel-molded retina models made from different thicknesses and concentrations of agarose gel. It was assumed that their resistances would be relative since agarose gel and the retina share similar properties. - Once the resistances of these models were found, the relative resistances of the retina layers were known which then contributed to the improvement of image quality produced by retinal prosthetics.

- Performed months of research on existing experiments and methods of determining liquids' index of refraction (n) before designing an apparatus with the help of my mentor which produced results with error as low as 0.20% - Created a high-precision, low-cost apparatus to determine the Index of Refraction of JADE's prospective eye products after receiving a grant form the National Science Foundation.
