Part-time, spring at Sullivan Hardware & Garden in the garden center. Previously, I worked for Sullivan full time as buyer for perennials, trees and shrubs. Regularly conducts workshops and seminars about gardening or garden-related topics.

I started Iowa, Michigan and Minnesota from ground zero, finding writers, developing the story budgets, making assignments, editing, getting photos, all in about three months, for that first issue. And from then on, four, 68-page magazines, six times a year, assigned, edited, proofed. Publisher decided to take editing in-house. Wisconsin came from another editor, who had it about a year.

The Friends of Garfield Park Inc., is charged with the stewardship of Indianapolis' oldest city park. Helped raise about $200,000 for varioius park projects, including Cultural Landscape Report, from grants, donations. Celebrated 100 Years of the Sunken Garden and Fountains in 2015. The park was designed by one of the country's first urban planners, George Kessler. There are programs at the conservatory, arts center and family/aquatics center throughout the year.

BOI is home to the Central Indiana Women's Business Center, an SBA program that supports women and men from the nine-county metro area.
