Since graduating with a marketing degree in 2004, I've been lucky to have learned from great people, been given fantastic opportunities and gained loads of in-house experience marketing brands like The Body Shop, Issey Miyake and Goodwood. In March 2020, my boss Chris put me on furlough. I was marketing the motorsport events at Goodwood, which didn't need much marketing during the pandemic! But he also asked me to consult for the charity he is on the board of trustees for, Dementia Support. They needed their marketing strategy developed to adapt to the pandemic situation. So, I did my first marketing consultancy work pro-bono for the charity and loved it. I was so excited to be able to apply what I'd learned from planning the marketing of bigger brands, to help SMEs take flight. This is when we had our ah-ha moment, and Chris (then boss) became my business partner as our marketing agency, Growth Animals, was born.Now, four years on we’re the B Corp marketing agency based on the South Coast that LOVES to help businesses expand their marketing capacity and thrive.
