Jen has become a "specialist" in remote location retail/hospitality management, including outlets at Hamilton Island, Kakadu National Park, Wilsons Promontory National Park, the Nullarbor and a number of very remote indigenous communities. Accustomed to the normal day to day operational extremes of small business, which cater to seasonal fluctuating tourism numbers, Jen is also a high performing site manager adapting to the additional challenges of extreme weather events including fire and flood, and has been responsible for the reestablishment of business after such events. Resilient with a "can do" attitude Jen is determined, regardless of socio economic circumstance or geographic location, customers or guests should receive the same level of service and quality of product. A fair but firm approach to managing an often transient on site workforce and is well versed in EO & OH&S matters. Accustomed to being accountable for the "bottom line" is highly regarded for her integrity, governance and competency with all matters financial and administrative. Her astute business acumen and entrepreneurial flair are well honed along with very diverse stakeholder management experience. Knowledgeable across all remote accommodation site departments - including retail, F&B, housekeeping and maintenance, RMS. Culturally aware with experience managing indigenous staff and sites - including Warradjan Aboriginal Cultural Centre in Kakadu and remote community stores.
