I currently live on Ngunnawal Country (Canberra, Australia) and am working on a PhD at the University of Wollongong. I have experience and interest in a range of areas including advocacy, public policy, social research and visual arts.I have five years experience working in Government, primarily in early childhood education policy. My academic background is in Sociology and social research. I have a keen interest in research and have experience working with both qualitative and quantitative data. I have ongoing engagement with LGBTIQ+ advocacy and social inclusion work. Most recently as Co-Chair of the ACT Education Directorate's staff Pride Network.I am a painter, working mostly with oil paints but also with acrylic. I paint landscapes, portraits, still life, and from the imagination. I can work from life or from photographs.
