Actively working in entertainment for the past 15 years in all aspects of the industry: professional singer, business development and client/patron management, directing, performing, playwriting, teaching, marketing, and graphic design.I started at Without A Cue Productions, an interactive theatre company, as an actor right out of college. As my knowledge of the company increased, I was able to use my customer service skills to manage current clients and discover new opportunities as a part-time Sales Manager. Eventually, the business grew large enough to bring me on full-time as the Director of Business Development. In 2019, Without A Cue produced 481 events and grossed over $500,000. When the pandemic hit, I was a part of the team as a key player developing new products to continue bringing interactive entertainment in a safe way (check out www.wacadventures.com to learn more!). We developed murder mystery walking tours that ran every weekend at Peddlers Village in New Hope, PA and Old City Philadelphia, along with virtual murder mystery games played by organizations such as Google and iRobot to foster staff teamwork and development. My additional passions include teaching and directing theatre for young people at Sandy Run Middle School and MacGuffin Theatre & Film Company. During the pandemic, I successfully organized over 30 students (via Zoom!) to rehearse and submit their videos of an original musical, THE ATTIC (Book/Lyrics by Jen Jaynes, Music/Arrangements by Samuel Heifetz), which I then edited into a feature-length film. My experience is extensive and allows me to connect with almost anyone. My experience as a portrait photographer honed my skills of photography for social media. My time as a Starbucks Shift Supervisor taught me how to work in a fast-paced environment and to not fixate on mistakes (which inevitably will happen) but rather how to wisely correct the mistake and continue on (self-compassion is key!). My years working in Front of House and Box Office operations for the University of Denver, Kutztown University, Villanova University, and the University of the Arts sharpened my patron management and training skills. For the future, I look forward to continuing my interest in international travel. In 2019 I had the privilege to travel to Northern India to visit historic Buddhist sites, and I look forward to traveling again!
