While working for Home Products, I shipped two of the FirePhone's marquee features: the 3D graphics stack and the Lock Screen signature experience. My primary focus was sanely integrating a custom 3D rendering stack with Android's existing graphics middleware implementation. Later on, I was a technical lead for the Echo Show project, guiding a team of 8-12 engineers to create central on-device speech services for all second generation Alexa devices. While work for PeopleTech, I set the technical direction for a five-team engineer organization and laid the architectural groundwork for one of Amazon's internal HR transformations, shifting the vision away from thick hosted services toward a decoupled suite of small and usually serverless solutions.
