Investigated high temperature electrolysis of carbon dioxide and water through the use of solid oxide electrolysis cells in order to create synthesis gas which can be made into fuel for energy storage. Studied and modeled heat transfer through solid materials using COMSOL Multiphysics modelling software.

Developed a data acquisition system for collecting atmospheric and cosmic ray data in collaboration with a team of four high school and undergraduate students . Designed an Arduino program to collect GPS, analog sensor and digital sensor data over specified time intervals to measure cosmic ray flux and showers.
